STEP
ONE: Remove step plate and panel
1) Remove the plastic door step plate by carefully
pulling it up by hand.
2) Remove the plastic panel that is adjacent to the
door and under the dash.
3) Expose the wires that are behind the panel and
expose the light that is under the glove box.
STEP
TWO:
Run wire from boards into vehicle.
1) Run the wire from under the running board up behind
the door hinge and through the rubber housing for
the speaker wires. FIG A
2) Pull the wire inside the vehicle so there is no
excess hanging in the door or under the running board.
The plastic covering may be removed on the wires that
are inside the vehicle. Fig B
STEP
THREE: Attach Ground wires.

1) Expose about 1/2" of the ground wires (white).
2) Expose about 1/2" of copper on the lights
ground wire. (black)
2) Attach the running board ground wire to the white
wire and seal it with butt connectors or electrical
tape.
STEP FOUR: Attach positive
wires.

1) Expose about 1" of the positive wire from
the running board. (red)
2) Expose about 1/2" of copper on the light's
positive wire. (orange)
3) Attach the running board positive wire to the orange
positive wire using butt connectors or electrical
tape.
STEP
FIVE: Replace Panels
1) Snap the side panels back on.
2) Snap the door kick plates back on.
