STEP
ONE: Mount brackets to pinchweld (Fig A)
- There are 6 to 8 tabs in the pinchweld that have
holes in them. These holes line up with threaded
holes in the sidewall.
- Pick 5 holes on each side equally spaced to
mount brackets.
- Thread a 1/4"x 1 3/4" hex bolt up
through the pinchweld and bracket and hand tighten
a 1/4" flange nut on top.
- On the passenger side you will need to use the
notched out brackets so they will slide behind the
A/C lines.
- Loosen 10mm nut holding A/C lines to side of
vehicle.
- Before installing passenger side brackets add
rubber trim pieces to the edges of bracket that
will touch A/C lines.
STEP
TWO: Mounting top part of bracket to vehicle
- Bolt the top of the brackets on by inserting a
8mm x1" hex bolt through the slot in the
bracket and into factory threaded hole.
- Slide bolts to line up with brackets, then tilt
board back and slide board up under body letting
the rear bolts fall into slots then the front
bolts.
- Slide board in or out to desired location then
thread flange nut and tighten, do this with all
brackets.
