STEP
ONE : Determine proper bracket placement
- Equally space 1st 3 brackets on front floor pan
weld, and the
4th
on the back weld alone.
Drop 2" bolt through bracket and into
hanger bracket, hand tight
Do this with all brackets putting them in proper
areas
STEP
TWO : Attaching twist trap to bracket and rocker
panel
- Bolt the twist straps to the side of bracket
using 3/4 bolt, And flange nut.
- Place the running board on the brackets with the
support Bolts falling thru the slots in the foot
of the bracket.
- Hand tighten the board to the brackets using
5/16" lock nuts
- Slide board in or out to desired location
- Tighten down lock nuts under running board
STEP
THREE : Tec screw strap into rocker panel
- Push board tight against vehicle and tec screw
strap into Rocker panel using top hole of strap.
- Go back to the hanger brackets [fig A] and
tighten.
- Check that all brackets are tight before
stepping on boards.
